I got tired of universal remotes that didn't work the way I wanted, so this one I programmed and built. It does your standard IR for my tv and dvr, but for my media center it registers as a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. The black thumb stick lets me scroll through movies and shows fluidly; it has 120 different speeds between center and fully down or up so it can go slow if you barely move it or fast if you go completely down.
I'm going to add buttons, put it on a printed circuit board and 3d print a case for it.
When I want something new in the future, I'll just upload a new program to it.
At this point it takes a little imagination but it's really a cool remote.
